Committee charge - Undertake activities in local conferences in the spring to identify and follow-up with members who have not renewed membership.  Promote membership in AFDO.  Try to achieve a goal of a 5% increase over last years’ membership.  Determine the approach needed to attract more members from academia and share with all conferences.  Undertake appropriate activities to increase CASA membership to 1500 members for the current year.  Assist CASA Secretary in membership activities.   Prepare an article for each conference newsletter and the CASA Reporter on the benefits of CASA and AFDO membership.  Submit committee report to the President by April 15, 2008.
